As we settled down in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, we decided we wanted to do something new and really uncover a story. The story we wanted to go after was that of the Zapatistas, a separatist group in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. After struggling to find someone to speak with, we got hooked up with Paco, a leader in telling the Zapatista story. The meeting went much differently than expected, and our experience with him will evolve our storytelling forever.
